    • 1 pound ground beef

    • 1/2 cup chopped onion

    • 2 cloves garlic, minced

    • 1 cup beef broth

    • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

    • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables

    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

    • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

    Directions

    • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
    • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent and garlic fragrant.
    • Pour in the beef broth and cream of mushroom soup, stirring to combine all ingredients in the skillet.
    • Add the frozen mixed vegetables and black pepper, stirring to distribute them evenly within the mixture. Bring to a gentle simmer.
    • Cut each biscuit in half and gently place them on top of the beef mixture, covering the surface evenly.
    • Cover the skillet with a lid, reduce heat to low, and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. This allows the biscuits to cook thoroughly in the steam.
    • When the biscuits are fully puffed and cooked through, remove the skillet from heat. Serve the dish hot in bowls.
