Chick-fil-A Just Launched a Chicken and Waffles Sandwich — Plus Two S’mores Drinks

Healthy Fact of the Day

Sandwiches that combine fried protein, syrup, and butter-based spreads can add up quickly in calories and added sugar, especially when paired with a milkshake-style drink. If you're ordering something like a chicken and waffles sandwich, consider going light on the syrup, choosing the grilled filet option instead of fried, or splitting a dessert drink with someone else at the table. Pairing a heavier meal with water instead of a second sugary beverage is also an easy way to keep things balanced.

Breakfast and dessert don’t usually share a menu item, but Chick-fil-A just found a way to make that work.

The chain has rolled out a new Chicken and Waffles Sandwich alongside a pair of s’mores-inspired frozen drinks, giving fall 2026 a lineup that leans into both comfort food and campfire nostalgia.

The Sandwich Everyone’s Talking About

The new Chicken and Waffles Sandwich layers a crispy fried chicken filet, three pieces of applewood-smoked bacon, and a honey butter spread between two warm, maple-flavored waffles, with a side of syrup included for dipping. It’s offered in two sizes: a smaller breakfast version available during morning hours, and a larger entrée size available from 10:30 a.m. until close. For anyone who wants to switch things up, the chicken filet can also be swapped for a grilled or spicy option.

The Drinks Bringing Campfire Flavor to the Menu

Rounding out the fall lineup are two s’mores-inspired frozen beverages. The S’mores Milkshake blends Icedream frozen dessert with toasted marshmallow syrup and chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles, finished with a toasted marshmallow whipped topping and a cherry on top.

The S’mores Frosted Coffee takes a similar flavor profile in a caffeinated direction, mixing cold-brewed coffee with marshmallow-flavored syrup, Icedream, and the same chocolate shortbread and graham cracker crumbles.

Where and When to Get It

All three items are available now for a limited time at Chick-fil-A locations nationwide, so there’s no need to wait to give the new lineup a try.

The Takeaway

Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty breakfast-meets-dinner sandwich or a dessert-style drink that tastes like a campfire treat, Chick-fil-A’s latest additions offer something a little different from the usual fall pumpkin spice route.

Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!

Little Caesars’ Fan-Favorite Personal Pizza Deal Is Back

A pizza-and-bread combo can pack in a fair amount of refined carbs and sodium in one sitting, especially with dipping sauce added on top. To round things out, consider pairing the combo with a side salad or a piece of fruit to add some fiber, and going easy on the dipping sauce rather than using the full portion with every bite.

Cantonese BBQ Brisket Is Back at Panda Express After Selling Out Earlier This Summer

Pairing a high-protein entrée with the right sides can help round out a more balanced meal. Consider choosing a vegetable-based side like mixed veggies instead of fried rice or chow mein to add fiber without extra refined carbs, and opting for a bowl over a plate if you’re looking to manage overall portion size while still getting the full protein benefit of the entrée.

Wendy’s Halloween Kids’ Meal Is Back — And Adults Are Ordering It Too

Kids’ meals are portioned smaller than adult entrées, which can actually make them a reasonable option for a lighter meal or a snack-sized treat. To keep things balanced, consider pairing the meal with a side of apple bites instead of fries, choosing a lower-sugar beverage like milk or water over a fountain drink, and treating the Frosty as a dessert to enjoy on its own rather than adding it on top of a larger meal.
