    Ingredients

    • 1 pound ground beef

    • 1 teaspoon paprika

    • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder

    • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder

    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

    • 0.25 teaspoon salt

    • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

    • 4 slices cheddar cheese

    • 4 pieces burger buns

    • 1 cup lettuce

    • 1 large tomato

    Directions

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix evenly but do not overwork the meat.
    • Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty that matches the size of your burger buns for even cooking.
    • Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until fully cooked to your desired level.
    • About one minute before the burgers are done, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Allow the cheese to melt slightly before removing from heat.
    • Slice the tomato into rings and prepare the lettuce. Toast the burger buns lightly if desired for extra flavor and texture.
    • Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun bottom. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and cover with the bun top. Serve immediately.

    Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!
