    Ingredients

    • 1 pound ground beef

    • 1 teaspoon paprika

    • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder

    • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder

    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

    • 0.25 teaspoon salt

    • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

    • 4 slices cheddar cheese

    • 4 pieces burger buns

    • 1 cup lettuce

    • 1 large tomato

    Directions

    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix evenly but do not overwork the meat.
    • Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty that matches the size of your burger buns for even cooking.
    • Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until fully cooked to your desired level.
    • About one minute before the burgers are done, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Allow the cheese to melt slightly before removing from heat.
    • Slice the tomato into rings and prepare the lettuce. Toast the burger buns lightly if desired for extra flavor and texture.
    • Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun bottom. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and cover with the bun top. Serve immediately.

    Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!

Nutella Just Released Its First New Flavor in Over 60 Years — And It’s Available Now

Nut-based spreads like Nutella Peanut can be a satisfying addition to meals and snacks, but they’re calorie-dense, so portion size matters. A thin spread on whole grain toast or a small drizzle over fruit is all you need to get the flavor payoff — using a spoon to measure rather than spreading straight from the jar is an easy way to keep portions in check. Pairing it with high-fiber foods like apple slices or whole grain crackers also helps slow digestion and keeps you feeling full longer.

The Stock Secrets Behind Every Great Restaurant Sauce

Homemade bone broth and stock are rich in glycine, an amino acid that plays a significant role in collagen synthesis, liver detoxification, and sleep regulation. Unlike many protein sources, glycine is found in particularly high concentrations in the connective tissue and bones that form the basis of a properly made stock — making a bowl of well-made soup or a sauce built on real stock a meaningful dietary source of this often-overlooked nutrient.
