    Ingredients

    • 1 pound sausage links

    • 1 large onion, chopped

    • 2 cloves garlic, minced

    • 0.5 cup carrot, sliced

    • 15 ounce can diced tomatoes

    • 1 cup chicken broth

    • 1 tablespoon tomato paste

    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

    • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

    • 0.25 teaspoon salt

    • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

    • 1 cup frozen peas

    • 2 cups mashed potatoes, prepared

    Directions

    • Brown the sausage links in a skillet over medium heat until they are golden brown. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
    • Transfer the browned sausages to the crockpot, then add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced carrot.
