Hot Honey Margarita

Healthy Fact of the Day

Hot honey contains capsaicin, which may boost metabolism. Use fresh lime juice and opt for a lighter orange liqueur to cut sugar without sacrificing flavor.

This Hot Honey Margarita takes the beloved classic and turns up the heat with a perfect balance of sweet honey and spicy jalapeño. Made with quality tequila, fresh lime juice, and orange liqueur, then sweetened with hot honey and rimmed with a salt and chili powder blend, this cocktail delivers layers of flavor that dance on your palate. It’s the ideal drink for those who crave bold flavors and want to add some excitement to their happy hour.

If you love cocktails with a spicy kick, you’ll also enjoy our Strawberry Basil Margarita for a fresh herbal twist on the classic. For more bold, flavorful drinks, try our Mexican Martini or Ginger Grapefruit Paloma—both deliver that same exciting complexity with unique flavor profiles.

    Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!

The Flavors That Everyone Loves but Nobody Talks About

Capsaicin — the compound responsible for chili heat — has been extensively studied for its health effects beyond its sensory properties. Regular consumption of capsaicin has been associated with increased metabolic rate, reduced appetite, improved cardiovascular markers, and antimicrobial effects in multiple clinical studies. The endorphin release triggered by capsaicin consumption produces measurable reductions in perceived pain and improvements in mood. And populations with high chili consumption — in South and Southeast Asia, in Mexico, in parts of Africa — consistently show lower rates of certain chronic diseases in epidemiological studies, though the relationship is complex and likely reflects dietary patterns rather than capsaicin alone.
