    Ingredients

    • 1.5 pounds chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on

    • 2 tablespoons olive oil

    • 4 cloves garlic, minced

    • 1 cup heavy cream

    • 1 cup chicken broth

    • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

    • 0.5 teaspoon salt

    • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

    Directions

    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large ovenproof skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
    • Add chicken thighs skin-side down and sear until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
    • Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sautĆ© until fragrant, about 1 minute.
    • Pour in the chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon.
    • Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 3 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
    • Sprinkle in Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix until the sauce is well combined and slightly thickened.
    • Return chicken thighs to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over the top of each piece.
    • Place the skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
    • Remove from oven and let the dish rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving warm.

    Tip of the Day

ā€œAlways let your meat rest before slicing.ā€

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!
