    • 1 sheet puff pastry

    • 4 slices ham

    • 4 slices cheddar cheese

    • 1 tbsp mustard

    • 1 unit egg

    • 1/2 tbsp water

    Directions

    • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface until it is slightly larger in size.
    • Spread mustard evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a margin along the edges unsmeared.
    • Arrange the ham slices followed by cheese slices on the mustard-covered pastry.
    • Carefully roll up the puff pastry into a log, sealing the edges by brushing with a beaten egg.
    • Slice the log into equal pieces and place them on the baking sheet.
