Creamy Paprika Pork is a delightful dish that combines the richness of pork with a creamy paprika-infused sauce, offering a comforting and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

 

  • 1.5 lbs pork tenderloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (optional, for thickening)
  • Cooked rice or egg noodles for serving
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

 

  1. Season the pork pieces with salt and black pepper.

  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

  3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent.

  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.

  5. Add the pork pieces to the skillet and brown them on all sides.

  6. Sprinkle sweet paprika and smoked paprika over the pork, stirring to coat the meat evenly.

  7. Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and tomato paste. Stir to combine.

  8. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it cook for about 15-20 minutes, allowing the pork to cook through.

  9. If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can mix a tablespoon of flour with a little water to create a slurry. Stir the slurry into the sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes to thicken.

  10. Adjust the seasoning if needed.

  11. Serve the Creamy Paprika Pork over cooked rice or egg noodles.

  12. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
