    Ingredients

    • 1 cup cherry preserves

    • 0.25 cup amaretto liqueur

    • 8 oz mascarpone cheese

    • 1 cup heavy cream

    • 0.25 cup powdered sugar

    • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    • 24 pieces ladyfinger biscuits

    • 1 cup strong brewed coffee

    • 1 ounce dark chocolate

    Directions

    • In a bowl, mix the cherry preserves and the amaretto liqueur until well combined. Set this mixture aside.
    • In another bowl, whisk the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
    • Dip the ladyfinger biscuits in the brewed coffee briefly, then lay them in a single layer in a baking dish.
    • Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of ladyfingers evenly using a spatula or knife.
    • Drizzle some of the cherry-amaretto mixture on top of the mascarpone layer before adding another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers.
    • Repeat the layering process with the remaining mascarpone mixture and cherry-amaretto mixture.
    • Finely grate the dark chocolate over the top of the assembled tiramisu to create a chocolate layer.
    • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to let the flavors meld together.
