    Ingredients

    • 1 cup pickle slices

    • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour

    • 1 tsp paprika

    • 0.5 tsp garlic powder

    • 0.25 tsp salt

    • 0.5 cup buttermilk

    • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

    • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    • 0.25 tsp black pepper

    • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper

    • 1 spray cooking spray

    Directions

    • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare your ingredients.
    • In one shallow dish, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, and salt. This will be your initial coating mixture.
    • Pour the buttermilk into a separate shallow dish for dipping the pickle slices after the flour coating.
    • In another shallow dish, combine the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and cayenne pepper for the final coating.
    • Dip each pickle slice into the flour mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated, then into the buttermilk, and finally into the breadcrumb mixture.
    • Arrange the coated pickle slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure they do not overlap.
    • Lightly spray the pickle slices with cooking spray to help them crisp up in the air fryer.
    • Air fry the pickles at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

    Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!
