    Ingredients

    • 1 pound breakfast sausage

    • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

    • 1 cup milk

    • 8 pieces flour tortillas

    • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

    • 0.5 cup chopped green onions

    Directions

    • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a baking dish with non-stick spray or butter to prevent sticking.
    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and crumble it into small pieces.
    • Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage and stir to combine evenly, ensuring the flour coats the sausage.
    • Gradually stir in the milk, cooking and stirring continuously until the mixture thickens into a creamy gravy.
    • Take a flour tortilla, spoon some sausage gravy into the center, followed by a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
    • Roll up the tortilla tightly and place it seam side down in the prepared baking dish. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
    • Pour any remaining sausage gravy over the rolled tortillas, ensuring they’re evenly covered.
    • Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until the cheese is melted.
    • Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped green onions on top for added flavor and texture.
    • Let them cool slightly before serving to enjoy the full flavor with each delicious bite.

    Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!
