    Ingredients

    • 4 fillets salmon

    • 1/2 cup crab meat

    • 1/2 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined

    • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

    • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

    • 1 medium green onion, chopped

    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

    • 1 pinch salt

    • 1 pinch black pepper

    Directions

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with oil or non-stick cooking spray.
    • In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, shrimp, cream cheese, mayonnaise, green onion, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.
    • Place the salmon fillets on a cutting board, and using a sharp knife, make a slit along the side of each fillet to create a pocket.
    • Spoon the crab and shrimp stuffing into each pocket, making sure not to overfill. Gently press the sides of the salmon to seal.
    • Transfer the stuffed salmon fillets into the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
    • Serve warm with your choice of sides. Enjoy your delicious crab and shrimp stuffed salmon!

    Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!

Why Some Cookbooks Change the Way You Cook Forever

Research on cooking behavior consistently finds that home cooks who develop a strong conceptual understanding of cooking — who understand why techniques work rather than simply how to execute them — are more likely to cook from scratch regularly, to use whole ingredients rather than processed ones, and to produce meals of higher nutritional quality than cooks who rely exclusively on recipe-following. The investment in understanding cooking as a practice, rather than a set of instructions, produces measurably healthier eating patterns over time.
