    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup butter

    • 2 cups heavy cream

    • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

    • 2 cloves garlic, minced

    • 1 pinch salt

    • 1 pinch black pepper

    • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, ground

    Directions

    • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and stir in the minced garlic. Sauté the garlic for about one minute, being careful not to burn it.
    • Add the heavy cream to the saucepan and bring it to a simmer. Stir constantly and let it simmer gently for about five minutes.
