    Ingredients

    • 4 pieces pork chops

    • 8 slices bacon

    • 1 cup heavy cream

    • 1 tablespoon olive oil

    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

    • 1 teaspoon onion powder

    • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

    • 1 teaspoon salt

    • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

    Directions

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and sear each side for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
    • In the same skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble the bacon, leaving the drippings in the pan for additional flavor.
    • Reduce heat to medium and add heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
    • Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then return the pork chops to the skillet. Let them cook in the sauce for about 8-10 minutes until they are fully cooked through.
    • Add crumbled bacon back into the skillet, stirring to incorporate it into the creamy sauce. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

    Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!

Why Your Fish Always Sticks to the Pan

Properly seared fish with crispy skin retains more omega-3 fatty acids and moisture than fish that’s overcooked while trying to flip it prematurely, and cooking fish with adequate healthy fats helps absorb fat-soluble vitamins like vitamin D and selenium while creating the searing temperature needed to preserve delicate proteins and prevent them from bonding to cooking surfaces.
