9 pieces lasagna noodles
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 ounces crab meat
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 cups heavy cream
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
0.5 teaspoon black pepper
0.5 teaspoon dried basil
0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of water to boil and cook the lasagna noodles until al dente.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté shrimp until pink, then remove them from heat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, combine heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, pepper, basil, and oregano. Let the mixture simmer until slightly thickened.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, crab meat, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Stir until well mixed.
- Spread a small amount of the cream sauce at the bottom of a baking dish, then layer three lasagna noodles.
- Top the noodles with half of the ricotta mixture, half of the shrimp, and a generous portion of the cream sauce.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining noodles, ricotta mixture, shrimp, and cream sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and all of the parmesan cheese over the top of the assembled lasagna.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 20 minutes.
- Allow the lasagna to cool for a few minutes before serving to help set the layers. Garnish with extra basil if desired.
