Krispy Kreme Just Dropped a Latin American Dessert Collection — Three New Doughnuts Available Now

Healthy Fact of the Day

Krispy Kreme's filled doughnuts are more indulgent than the classic Original Glazed, but the Destination Dessert Collection offers a genuinely interesting cultural experience worth savoring slowly rather than rushing through. Ordering one to share — splitting a Guava Cheesecake or Tres Leches doughnut between two people — lets you taste the flavor without the full calorie commitment of a whole doughnut each. It's also worth pairing with a plain black coffee rather than a sweet beverage, since the richness of the filled doughnuts stands out more clearly without competing sweetness from your drink.

Krispy Kreme’s summer tour just made its most delicious stop yet.

Following last summer’s Italian-inspired collection and the 2024 Paris lineup, Krispy Kreme’s Destination Dessert Collection is back for a third year — this time drawing from Latin American dessert traditions. Three new filled doughnuts are available now for a limited time, each inspired by a beloved regional sweet: tres leches cake, guava cheesecake, and chocotorta.

The Three New Doughnuts

Tres Leches-Inspired Doughnut — A doughnut filled with tres leches-flavored Kreme filling, iced with sweet crème-flavored buttercream, and finished with a dusting of cinnamon and cake doughnut crumbles. Tres leches cake — a sponge cake soaked in three types of milk — is one of Latin America’s most beloved desserts, and the light, milky sweetness of the filling translates well to the doughnut format.

Guava Cheesecake Doughnut — The most complex of the three: a doughnut stuffed with both cheesecake-flavored Kreme and guava filling, coated in a bright pink icing and garnished with white icing stripes and crunchy pieces. The guava-and-cream-cheese pairing is iconic in Cuban pastry culture — think pastelitos de guayaba — and the two-filling approach makes this the most interesting bite of the collection.

Choco Dulce Cookie Crunch Doughnut — A chocolate-forward doughnut inspired by the chocotorta, an Argentine no-bake dessert made with chocolate cookies and dulce de leche. This one is coated in chocolate icing and crushed chocolate cookie pieces, filled with a chocolate dulce cookie Kreme, and finished with a dulce de leche-flavored buttercream swirl on top. For anyone who hasn’t had a chocotorta, it’s essentially Argentina’s answer to a cookies-and-cream icebox cake — rich, layered, and deeply satisfying.

The Destination Dessert Collection So Far

This is the third installment of Krispy Kreme’s annual summer Destination Dessert Collection:

  • 2024: Paris — crème brûlée and éclair doughnuts
  • 2025: Italy — cannoli and tiramisu doughnuts
  • 2026: Latin America — tres leches, guava cheesecake, and chocotorta doughnuts

The collection has become one of Krispy Kreme’s most anticipated summer events, and the Latin American installment is the most culturally specific of the three — which should make the flavors the most distinctive yet.

Where to Get Them

The Destination Dessert Collection is available now at participating Krispy Kreme shops nationwide and through the Krispy Kreme app for pickup or delivery, while supplies last.

The Bottom Line

Krispy Kreme’s Latin American Destination Dessert Collection — Tres Leches, Guava Cheesecake, and Choco Dulce Cookie Crunch — is available now for a limited time. If the Guava Cheesecake is available at your nearest shop, that’s the one to try first.

Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!

First Watch Just Brought Back Its Beloved Fall Menu

Seasonal pancake and griddle dishes tend to be higher in sugar and refined carbs than First Watch’s other menu options, especially once syrup and toppings are factored in. If you want to enjoy the seasonal flavor without the full sugar hit, consider splitting the dish with someone else at the table, asking for syrup on the side so you control the amount, or pairing it with a side of fruit instead of extra toppings. Balancing out a heavier breakfast with a lighter lunch later in the day can also help keep things in check.

Cherry Bourbon Cobbler

Cherries are among the most antioxidant-rich fruits available, containing anthocyanins that support cardiovascular health and may reduce inflammation. Research also suggests tart cherries contain melatonin precursors that can support healthy sleep cycles. Bourbon, used in baking, contributes complex flavor from its barrel aging while much of the alcohol evaporates during the 45-minute bake—leaving behind warm vanilla, caramel, and oak notes that deepen the cherry’s natural flavor complexity without significant alcohol content in the finished dessert.
