Jack in the Box Teamed Up With Hot Ones — And You Have Until July 22 to Try It

Healthy Fact of the Day

Spicy food has a few genuine health benefits — capsaicin, the compound that creates heat in chili-based sauces like the Hot Ones Sriracha, has been linked to temporarily boosting metabolism and reducing inflammation. That said, the sandwiches in this collab are still high in sodium and saturated fat. The Jr. Chicken Sandwich at $3.99 is a meaningfully lighter option than the full Chick-N-Tater Melt, delivering the Hot Ones Buffalo flavor experience with less overall calorie and fat load. And if you're adding The Last Dab Apollo — the 3 million Scoville hot sauce — start with a tiny amount; a little goes a very long way.

If you’ve ever watched a celebrity sweat through the Hot Ones gauntlet and thought, “I want that experience at a drive-thru,” Jack in the Box just made it happen.

The Hot Ones x Jack in the Box collaboration launched June 1 and runs through July 22 at participating locations nationwide, giving fans a full eight weeks with one of the most buzzed-about fast food collabs of the summer. The lineup features two returning fan-favorite sandwiches reimagined with Hot Ones sauces, new loaded fries, a full value menu tier, and a Munchie Meal bundle complete with soccer-themed blind bag collectibles.

The Two Flagship Sandwiches

Hot Ones Sriracha Curly Fry Burger ($7.99) — A jumbo beef patty on a toasted buttery bakery bun, topped with American cheese, seasoned curly fries baked right into the sandwich, pickled jalapeños, and Hot Ones Sriracha Sauce. One reviewer who tried both sandwiches called his first bite of the Sriracha Curly Fry Burger an immediate win, with enjoyment that “pretty much just heightened from there.”

Hot Ones Buffalo Chick-N-Tater Melt ($7.99) — A chicken patty, hickory-smoked bacon, a hash brown, Swiss-style cheese, shredded cheddar, cheese sauce, and Hot Ones Buffalo Sauce on a warm croissant. The same reviewer called this his favorite of the two — praising “an explosion of soft, buttery, and gooey ingredients, complemented by a hash browns crisp” as the ideal vehicle for the Buffalo sauce’s “creaminess, pronounced tang, and just enough spice.”

The Value Menu Tier

For a lighter commitment, Hot Ones flavors also make their way into new value meal offerings: a Hot Ones Sriracha Jr. Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger and a Hot Ones Buffalo Jr. Chicken Sandwich, each available at $3.99, with double patty versions at $4.99. Either can be ordered as part of the Hot Ones Munch Better Deal Meal with small fries and a drink for $5.49.

The Loaded Fries

Two new Sauced & Loaded Curly Fries options at $4 each: seasoned curly fries topped with shredded cheddar, cheese sauce, and your choice of Hot Ones Sriracha or Hot Ones Buffalo Sauce. A strong standalone snack or a pairing upgrade for either sandwich.

The Munchie Meal ($14) and the Blind Bag

The Hot Ones Munchie Meal includes a choice of the Sriracha Curly Fry Burger or Buffalo Chick-N-Tater Melt, seasoned curly fries, two tacos, a fountain drink, and a soccer-themed Jack’s Soccer Swag Blind Bag — with one of five variations of either a Jack Mini Bobblehead or a Jack Mini Jersey Keychain, available while supplies last.

The Last Dab Apollo ($1.25)

For the truly brave: The Apollo Pepper, bred by Smokin’ Ed Currie of Puckerbutt Pepper Co., is thought to clock in at over 3 million Scoville Heat Units — making The Last Dab Apollo one of the hottest commercially available hot sauces on the market. The reviewer noted the sauce paired especially well with the Buffalo Chick-N-Tater Melt, but found it a slightly awkward match for the Sriracha Curly Fry Burger.

Why This Collab Works

Hot Ones is a part of the First We Feast online media company with over 27 million followers, and its brand translates naturally into fast food — the show’s entire premise is about escalating heat levels and testing limits, which is exactly what a spicy fast food menu is designed to do. The collab also ties into Jack in the Box’s 75th anniversary celebration, which has been centered around reviving fan-favorite menu throwbacks with a fresh twist.

The Bottom Line

The Hot Ones x Jack in the Box limited-time menu is available at participating locations through July 22. With less than two weeks left, now is the time to try it — especially if the Chick-N-Tater Melt or the Sriracha Curly Fry Burger have been on your radar since June.

Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!

The Food of Summer Evenings: What to Cook When Time Slows Down

The Mediterranean evening meal pattern — characterized by a long, gradual meal with multiple small courses, eaten slowly over one to two hours, often outdoors in the company of others — has been associated in nutritional research with lower rates of overeating, better digestion, and greater meal satisfaction compared to the rushed, single-course meal common in Northern European and American eating patterns. The pace of the meal, not just its content, affects how much is eaten and how satisfying the eating experience is — making the summer evening long table a health practice as much as a social one.
