Krispy Kreme Just Turned Girl Scout Cookies Into Doughnuts — And They’re Already in Shops

Healthy Fact of the Day

Limited-edition doughnut collabs are best enjoyed as a deliberate treat rather than an everyday habit — and with three distinct flavors available, sharing a dozen with a group is the smart move. If you're choosing just one, the Lemon-Ups Doughnut is the lightest of the three flavor profiles, with the citrus filling and lemon icing delivering a bright, less heavy experience compared to the chocolate and caramel-loaded options. And if you're picking up a six-pack at the grocery store, the Thin Mints and Original Glazed combination gives you some flexibility — the plain Original Glazed is one of the lower-calorie Krispy Kreme options at around 190 calories.

The collaboration that was, as Krispy Kreme put it, “mint to be.”

Krispy Kreme and Girl Scouts of the USA launched the Girl Scout Cookie Inspired Dozen on July 7 at participating shops nationwide, reimagining three of the most iconic Girl Scout Cookie flavors into limited-time doughnuts available while supplies last. The timing is deliberate — launching in July sets these apart from the Girl Scout Cookie selling season, which typically takes place in colder weather months.

Three flavors, one very nostalgic concept. Here’s what’s in each one.

The Three Doughnuts

Thin Mints Doughnut — An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with Thin Mints cookie crumbles and dark chocolate chips, with a drizzle of mint green icing. The most visually recognizable of the three and the most faithful to its cookie inspiration — the dark chocolate and mint combination translates directly.

Lemon-Ups Doughnut — An unglazed shell doughnut filled with Lemon Crisp Kreme filling, dipped in lemon-flavored icing, and finished with a lemon-inspired design. The filled format distinguishes this one from the other two — biting in delivers a burst of lemon cream rather than the top-down experience of the Thin Mints or Coconut Caramel.

Coconut Caramel Doughnut — A riff on Caramel deLites (or Samoas, depending on your region), this Original Glazed doughnut is dipped in chocolate icing and topped with coconut and caramel. The most indulgent of the three, and the one that leans most into Krispy Kreme’s strength — the Original Glazed base underneath all those toppings keeps it from becoming too heavy.

How to Get Them

The Girl Scout Cookie Inspired Dozen is available for a limited time at participating shops nationwide, individually or by the dozen while supplies last. A six-pack of three Thin Mints Doughnuts and three Original Glazed doughnuts will also be available at select grocery retailers.

Order in-shop, through the Krispy Kreme app, online at krispykreme.com, or via delivery. Use the store locator to find your nearest participating location.

The Bigger Picture

Krispy Kreme Chief Brand and Product Officer Alison Holder said: “Girl Scout Cookie flavors are iconic for a reason. Reimagining them as doughnuts is a fun way to bring those familiar favorites to fans in a completely new and truly irresistible way.”

The collab benefits both brands. For Krispy Kreme, Girl Scout Cookie flavors come pre-loaded with nostalgia and devoted fan bases — the kind of built-in cultural equity that makes a limited-time launch feel like an event rather than just a new menu item. For Girl Scouts of the USA, the partnership extends the reach of the cookie brand into summer, a season when the cookies themselves aren’t typically available.

The Bottom Line

Krispy Kreme’s Girl Scout Cookie Inspired Dozen — Thin Mints, Lemon-Ups, and Coconut Caramel — is available now at participating locations while supplies last. Individual doughnuts, dozens, and select grocery six-packs are all available. If Thin Mints or Samoas are your cookie of choice, this is your off-season fix.

Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!

Baskin-Robbins Just Launched Its Most Loaded Ice Cream of the Summer — And Brought Back a Fan Favorite

The Oreo S’mores flavor is the lighter of the two new scoops — the marshmallow and graham base is less dense than the Brookie Batter’s double ice cream and double dough format, making it a slightly lower-calorie way to enjoy the collection. If you’re planning to take advantage of the National Ice Cream Day deals, ordering a single scoop instead of a sundae saves significant calories while still giving you the full flavor experience. And with the BOGO Free Single Scoop on July 26, sharing with someone is the natural and practical move — you get the celebration without doubling down on a second full scoop on your own.

The Summer Cookbook You Never Bought

Preserving summer produce through techniques like freezing, making jam, and roasting in olive oil extends the availability of nutritionally dense peak-season ingredients well beyond their natural season — allowing the cook to access the higher vitamin and antioxidant content of in-season produce throughout the year. Berries frozen at peak ripeness retain most of their antioxidant content for up to a year, research shows, making the simple act of spreading fresh berries on a sheet pan and freezing them one of the most nutritionally efficient food preservation techniques available to any home cook.
