    Ingredients

    • 1 cup all-purpose flour

    • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

    • 1 tablespoon baking powder

    • 1/2 teaspoon salt

    • 1 cup milk

    • 1 large egg

    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

    • 1/4 cup butter

    • 1/4 cup brown sugar

    • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

    • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

    • 2 tablespoons milk

    Directions

    • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
    • In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, and vegetable oil until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
    • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined, without overmixing.
    • Melt the butter in a small saucepan, then add the brown sugar and cinnamon, stirring until smooth.
    • Transfer the cinnamon mixture to a piping bag or plastic bag with a small cut in one corner.
    • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or additional butter.
    • Pour about 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto the skillet for each pancake, allowing space between each one.
    • Using the piping bag, swirl some cinnamon mixture on each pancake, creating a swirl pattern as you cook.
    • Cook pancakes until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook for another minute until golden brown.
    • To make the icing, whisk together powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth and slightly thick.
    • Drizzle the prepared icing over warm pancakes before serving to add sweetness and flavor.

    Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!
