    • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

    • 2 tablespoons hot sauce

    • 1 tablespoon pickle relish

    • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

    Directions

    • Preheat oil in a deep-frying pan to 350°F. Make sure you use enough oil to fully immerse the Reuben balls.
    • In a large bowl, mix sauerkraut, corned beef, Swiss cheese, flour, one egg, and black pepper until combined.
    • Shape the mixture into small balls, approximately 1.5 inches in diameter, ensuring each ball is tightly packed.
    • Whisk the remaining egg in a separate bowl and put breadcrumbs on a plate for coating each Reuben ball.
    • Dip each ball into the beaten egg, then roll it in breadcrumbs, making sure they are coated evenly.
    • Fry the balls in preheated oil for around 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. Use a slotted spoon to remove.
