    • 1 pound ground beef

    • 2 cloves garlic, minced

    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

    • 1 tablespoon fish sauce

    • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

    • 0.5 cup Thai basil leaves

    • 0.5 teaspoon red chili flakes

    • 8 leaves lettuce, large leaves

    Directions

    • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the minced garlic and cook for about one minute until fragrant.
    • Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned, about five to seven minutes.
    • Stir in the soy sauce, fish sauce, and oyster sauce. Cook for another two minutes, ensuring the beef is evenly coated with the sauces.
    • Toss in the Thai basil leaves and red chili flakes. Cook for another two to three minutes until the basil is wilted and aromatic.

    Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!
