Irresistible Garlic Parmesan Bread Knots

Healthy Fact of the Day

While garlic bread is often considered an indulgent treat, this recipe incorporates healthy ingredients like fresh garlic, herbs, and Parmesan cheese. Garlic is rich in antioxidants and may have anti-inflammatory properties, while Parmesan cheese provides protein and calcium.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough or bread dough
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza or bread dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

  3. Cut the dough into long strips, about 1 inch wide.

  4. Take each strip and tie it into a knot shape. Place the knots on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart.

  5. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  6. Brush the garlic Parmesan butter mixture generously over the top of each bread knot.

  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown and cooked through.

  8. Remove the garlic Parmesan bread knots from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Enjoy these irresistible garlic Parmesan bread knots as a flavorful accompaniment to your favorite meals or as a tasty snack!

Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!
