Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Healthy Fact of the Day

Pork tenderloin is a lean cut of meat, and when glazed with honey and paired with herbs, it's a delightful and nutritious dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 pork tenderloins (about 1 to 1.5 pounds each)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, fresh rosemary, and fresh thyme.
  3. Season the pork tenderloins with salt and black pepper.
  4. Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add a bit of olive oil if your skillet isn’t non-stick.
  5. Sear the pork tenderloins on all sides until they are browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Pour the honey glaze over the pork tenderloins and brush to coat evenly.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  8. Roast the pork tenderloins for about 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare or 160°F (71°C) for medium, and the meat is slightly pink in the center.
  9. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the pork rest for a few minutes.
  10. Slice the Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin into medallions and serve it hot, garnished with extra herbs if desired.

This Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin is a succulent and flavorful dish that’s perfect for a wholesome dinner. Enjoy the tender, juicy pork with the sweet and savory honey glaze!

Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!

Fritos Is Dropping a Spicy Dill Pickle Flavor Twist — And the Timing Couldn’t Be Better

Spicy snacks like these can actually have a surprising benefit — capsaicin, the compound responsible for heat in chili-based seasonings, has been linked to temporarily boosting metabolism and reducing appetite. That said, flavored chips are still high in sodium and refined carbs, so portion control matters. Measuring out a single serving before snacking — rather than eating from the bag — is the easiest way to enjoy the flavor without overdoing it at your next cookout or movie night.

A Line Cook’s Guide to Wasting Almost Nothing

Vegetable peels and trimmings often contain higher concentrations of certain nutrients than the interior flesh — potato skins, for example, contain significantly more fiber, potassium, and B vitamins than the peeled potato. Using trimmings in stocks and soups rather than discarding them recaptures a portion of these nutrients that would otherwise be lost, making zero-waste cooking a nutritional practice as well as a culinary and environmental one.
