    Ingredients

    • 1 package active dry yeast

    • 1/4 cup warm water

    • 3/4 cup milk

    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

    • 1 large egg

    • 4 cups all-purpose flour

    • 1 teaspoon salt

    • 1/2 cup maple syrup

    • 1/4 cup bourbon

    • 1/2 cup bacon bits

    • 2 tablespoons cinnamon

    • 1 cup powdered sugar

    • 2 tablespoons milk

    • 1 cup brown sugar

    Directions

    • In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes.
    • Heat milk in a small saucepan until it just starts to bubble. Remove from heat and add sugar and butter. Stir until combined.
    • In a large bowl, combine the yeast mixture, milk mixture, beaten egg, flour, and salt. Knead until smooth and elastic.
    • Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 to 1.5 hours.
    • Roll dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Brush with bourbon and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
    • Scatter bacon bits over the dough, then carefully roll it up, starting from one of the long sides.
    • Cut the roll into 12 even pieces. Place each roll cut-side up in a greased baking dish.
    • Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 to 45 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Bake rolls in preheated oven until golden brown, about 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
    • Mix powdered sugar, remaining milk, and maple syrup for the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.

    Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!
