    Ingredients

    • 1 lb Italian sausage

    • 12 oz rigatoni pasta

    • 2 tbsp olive oil

    • 1 large onion, chopped

    • 2 cloves garlic, minced

    • 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes

    • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

    • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes

    • 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped

    Directions

    • Cook the rigatoni pasta according to the package instructions in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
