    Ingredients

    • 4 chicken breasts

    • 2 pears

    • 1 tablespoon olive oil

    • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg

    • 1 teaspoon salt

    • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

    Directions

    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with a little olive oil for ease of cleaning later.
    • Halve the pears and scoop out the seeds, then dice them into small cubes to allow for better distribution in the filling.
    • In a mixing bowl, combine diced pears, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper, stirring until the seasoning is evenly spread over the pear pieces.
    • Cut a pocket into each chicken breast carefully using a sharp knife, ensuring not to cut through the other side to hold the filling.
    • Stuff each chicken breast with the prepared pear mixture, making sure to evenly distribute and not overfill, and secure with toothpicks if necessary.
    • Place the stuffed chicken breasts in the greased baking dish, drizzling the remaining olive oil over each piece for added moisture.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 35-40 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Pear Stuffed Chicken brings unexpected elegance through its delicate balance of sweet fruit and savory poultry. Each tender chicken breast conceals a fragrant filling of diced pears kissed with cinnamon and nutmeg, creating an autumn-inspired dish that feels both comforting and sophisticated. The natural sweetness of the pears keeps the chicken incredibly moist while adding subtle fruit notes throughout. Pair with a crisp Riesling or Viognier—their stone fruit notes complement the pears while their bright acidity balances the warming spices.

    Tip of the Day

“Always let your meat rest before slicing.”

Whether you're roasting a chicken, grilling steak, or baking pork tenderloin, letting cooked meat rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing allows the juices to redistribute evenly. This simple step keeps your meat juicy and tender, ensuring every bite is flavorful and moist. Bonus: It gives you a moment to plate your sides or garnish for a perfect presentation!
