Apple Berry Dump Cake

This Apple Berry Dump Cake combines the sweetness of apples and berries with a simple and wholesome cake mix. It's a delightful treat that's easy to make and perfect for a cozy dessert.

Ingredients

 

  • 2 cups mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Chopped nuts or oats for topping (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving (optional)

 

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sliced apples, mixed berries, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon. Toss until the fruit is well coated.

  3. Transfer the fruit mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.

  4. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the fruit layer.

  5. Pour the melted unsalted butter evenly over the cake mix layer.

  6. If desired, sprinkle chopped nuts or oats on top for added texture.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.

  8. Allow the dump cake to cool slightly before serving.

  9. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
