Creamy Horseradish Sauce

Creamy Horseradish Sauce is a zesty and versatile condiment that adds a burst of flavor to a variety of dishes. This sauce is low in calories and can be enjoyed in moderation to enhance the taste of meats, sandwiches, and more.

Ingredients

 

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

 

  1. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, prepared horseradish, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, and honey.

  2. Mix the ingredients together until well combined.

  3. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more horseradish if desired.

  4. Garnish with chopped fresh chives if you like.

  5. Refrigerate the Creamy Horseradish Sauce for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

  6. Stir the sauce before serving and adjust the seasoning if needed.

  7. Serve the Creamy Horseradish Sauce as a flavorful accompaniment to roast beef, grilled chicken, sandwiches, or as a dip for vegetables.
