    Ingredients

    • 1 pound ground beef

    • 0.5 cup bread crumbs

    • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

    • 1 teaspoon salt

    • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

    • 1 teaspoon allspice

    • 1 tablespoon butter

    • 3 cups beef broth

    • 1 cup heavy cream

    • 2 tablespoons flour

    • 2 cups baby potatoes, quartered

    • 1 cup carrots, sliced

    • 1 cup peas

    • 0.25 cup fresh parsley, chopped

    Directions

    • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper, and allspice. Form small meatballs using about a tablespoon of mixture for each.
    • In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add meatballs in batches and brown them on all sides, about 5 minutes per batch, then remove and set aside.
    • In the same pot, whisk in flour and gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Bring mixture to a gentle boil and allow to simmer.
    • Add heavy cream to the broth and mix thoroughly. Return the browned meatballs to the pot, along with the baby potatoes and sliced carrots.
    • Simmer the soup until the potatoes and carrots are tender, about 20 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking throughout.
    • Add peas to the soup and continue simmering for an additional 5 minutes. Stir in fresh parsley just before serving for added flavor and color.
