- Dough: - 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F/43°C)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg

- Filling: - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

- Topping (Optional): - 2 tbsp melted butter
- Extra herbs or grated Parmesan for garnish Instructions Instructions

- Prepare Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Alternatively, use a stand mixer with a dough hook.
- Let Dough Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-1.5 hours or until doubled in size.
- Prepare Filling: Mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, rosemary, oregano, and Parmesan (if using) in a small bowl.
- Roll Out Dough: Punch down the dough and roll it into a large rectangle (approximately 12×18 inches). Spread the herb and garlic butter evenly over the surface.
- Roll and Slice: Roll the dough tightly from one long edge to the other to form a log. Slice into 12 even pieces and place them in a greased baking dish or on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Second Rise: Cover the rolls with a clean towel and let them rise for 30-40 minutes until puffed.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown.
- Optional Topping: Brush warm rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with extra herbs or Parmesan.
- Serve: Enjoy warm as a side dish or snack.
