3/4 cup hot brewed coffee
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey
1 tablespoon heavy cream
Directions
- Brew a fresh pot of coffee. Once ready, pour three-quarters of a cup into a heatproof glass or mug.
- Add two tablespoons of brown sugar into the coffee, stirring well until completely dissolved to ensure a smooth drink.
- Pour one and a half ounces of Irish whiskey into the sweetened coffee, stirring gently to blend the flavors evenly.
- In a separate container, lightly whip the heavy cream until slightly thickened but still pourable, this will float atop the drink.
- Carefully pour the whipped cream over the back of a warm spoon so that it floats on top of the coffee mixture.
