Flourless Chocolate Avocado Cake

Flourless Chocolate Avocado Cake is a decadent yet healthier dessert option. Avocado adds creaminess and healthy fats, while cocoa powder provides rich chocolate flavor. This flourless cake is gluten-free and lower in refined sugars, making it a guilt-free indulgence.

Ingredients

 

  • 2 ripe avocados, mashed
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Fresh berries, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

  2. In a blender or food processor, combine mashed avocados, maple syrup or honey, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.

  3. Add cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt to the blender. Blend until well combined.

  4. Fold in dark chocolate chips into the batter.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

  8. Once cooled, garnish with fresh berries if desired.

  9. Slice and serve the Flourless Chocolate Avocado Cake.
